What is the Oak Grove Foundation?
The Oak Grove Foundation supports all students! Through this non-profit 501(c)(3) for Oak Grove Elementary in DeKalb County, Georgia, each OGE student is able to receive an innovative and exceptional education in our public school setting.
Meet our Board Members who are also OGE parents.
Why does Oak Grove Elementary need a foundation?
The Oak Grove community values a first rate public education. Enriching and elevating the educational experience at Oak Grove Elementary School has costs that are not covered by DeKalb County, the state of Georgia, or the federal government. The Foundation's work over the last decade has played a significant role in the success of the school, and we want to do even more!
Didn’t I already give to OGE at Open House?
We hope you did! Oak Grove is fortunate to have three parent organizations that each serve a different purpose and two fundraise. Our PTA fundraises during the fall and the Foundation fundraises during the spring. Your donation to the PTA Give to Grover campaign during the fall is separate from your donation to the Oak Grove Foundation in February of each year.
Please donate to both organizations!
Oak Grove Elementary has a rich history of excellence in education. Our vision is to unleash the full potential of every child. In order to accomplish this goal, we depend on critical funds raised by these two separate parent-led organizations.
